Science commercialisation is at a turning point. We believe that entrepreneurial scientists will drive solutions to problems that matter and in turn they need the right team around them: experienced operators and product managers who understand what it takes to build and bring to market solutions that society can back.
Through BSO we are preparing the next generation of operators and product managers who can team up with our scientist founders. Every quarter we select up to 20 participants for a half-day class on what it means to apply your skills within a science venture. We show you the subtle differences that exist between tech and science enterprises with dynamic sessions on translating science into product; breaking the fix for grants; managing patent rights; understanding a researcher's mindset.
BSO is for you if:
you have some 5 years of product or executive experience within a tech venture (deep tech and b2b preference) and
you are now exploring how to put your experience to good use at the forefront of innovation (think nanotech for sustainable manufacturing; synthetic biology for bio-based solutions; AI for drug discovery; neuromorphic computing)
