We kickoff 2021 with another great team addition , and what a member!
Gautam Dey brings the California vibe to our Academia team, having completed his PhD at Stanford with Tobias Meyer on the evolution of human gene regulatory modules before relocating to UCL as a postdoctoral researcher with Buzz Baum within the MRC Lab for Molecular Cell Biology .
He has JUST moved to Heidelberg to start his own research group within EMBL , the European Molecular Biology Laboratory. The Dey Group will be studying the evolutionary origins of nuclear organisation and their architecture.
He joins us to help us further the mission of science and of entrepreneurial scientists including by validating the research that we see and joining the dots between the different science stakeholders. Welcome onboard Gautam!
