Opening our advisory ENGINE to ALL scientist founders

At Wilbe we have developed a venture model that works for scientists which starts from providing education (SKILLS) and all the way through to venture building (VENTURES) and investing (FIRST CHECK).

To help our scientist founders post-investment with our operational expertise, over the years we have developed the ENGINE, a proprietary advisory firm which brings all professional disciplines under one roof: legal, finance, branding and recruitment.

In our mission to put scientists first, this month we are opening up the ENGINE to all of you scientist founders who are at this stage:

You have closed your first round, the team is still made of scientists and you have a long list of operational activities awaiting you before you can get back to product and start thinking about your next round. You need to get cracking with recruiting core team members, formalising commercial partnerships, defining a patent strategy, getting your tax credit claims in order.

At the ENGINE we are a collective of finance, recruitment, branding and legal professionals who have specialist expertise from science-led industries and hence understand very well the peculiar dynamics around IP, industrial relations and regulatory aspects. At ENGINE you will be able to work alongside professionals from the likes of SpaceX, AstraZeneca, Engie and Dorsey & Whitney on a project basis and until you bring these functions in-house, which we can also help you secure.

In effect, when you stop needing the ENGINE, it means that we have done our job right and have helped you get to your next phase of growth.
