What is Wilbe Build Week?
Wilbe Build Week is a 7-day, online, high-intensity venture-building and investment program where scientists and engineers work through Wilbe's build process, access office hours with the Wilbe team, and compete for a first-check investment and a place on the next in-person founder residency.

Schedule
- Friday kickoff

Investment decisions may happen at any point during or soon after the week.
Investment offer
During or after Build Week, Wilbe may offer to invest. We write first checks ranging from $100K-$700K, either at inception or directly at pre-seed. At inception, we may invest up to $200K through a SAFE, with pre-emption rights to invest at pre-seed. We may also invest up to $700K directly at pre-seed. Build Week is free to participate in, with no equity required and no obligation to accept investment from Wilbe.
Confidentiality and IP
You do not need to disclose confidential technical details or sensitive IP to participate. Wilbe encourages applicants to keep patent-enabling details, unpublished results, confidential data, or anything they are not ready to discuss publicly out of the application, office hours, and community discussion.
